Game Designer:
- Designed a game system that revolved around the unique mechanic of being tethered to a ghost of the players previous actions.
- Designed levels and sections which allowed for novel uses of this mechanic.
- Iterated these designs and mechanics based on data analysis and user feedback.

Producer:

- Created this game while sticking to a strict project timeline of when builds were due for review.

Hjarness was a game I made for 2 modules in my 3rd year at university. The first module it was made for was Games Mechanics and System Design, a module designed to hone the skills needed to create a fun mechanic and apply it to a game. This was intended not only to improve the design skills involved, but also the technical skills required to program and implement a mechanic. The second module this game was created for was Analytics and Data Driven Games Design. This module was intended to provide students with experience in both implementing data collection and analytics features, but also how to analyse this data and use it to inform design choices. These two modules fed into each other rather well in my opinion, and as such it was able to elevate my work to a new level.
